Dr. Kerri McBee-Black (University of Missouri) with the Textile and Apparel Management Department, is seeking neurodivergent adults (18+) for a study evaluating the impact of inclusive apparel on focus and anxiety. Participants will engage in a 5-day wear test of a HumanEight hoodie while performing academic or professional tasks. Eligibility: Self-identify as neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, Sensory Sensitivity, etc.). - Currently a college student or working professional.
Requirements: Participants must wear the provided hoodie for 2 hours daily for 5 days, complete daily digital diaries and provide two short video or audio reflections. The Kinder Institute is currently accepting applications for its 2026-27 Society of Fellows, an academic extracurricular program open to undergraduates of all majors at the University of Missouri. Students’ year in the Fellows program kicks off with a summer conference at the Tiger Hotel (August 17-21) and continues throughout the fall and spring semesters with monthly events, including lectures, lunches with visiting speakers at the Kinder Institute, cultural excursions out on the town and the Dead Poets Society of Fellows poetry and politics book club. An optional information session about the program will be held on Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m. in Jesse Hall 410, and the deadline to apply is Sunday, April 12. Healthy women with pregnancy in the last 5 years needed for metabolism study
Recruiting women who have given birth in the last 5 years and are not currently pregnant/lactating who were OR were NOT diagnosed with gestational diabetes during their pregnancy for a metabolism study. This study has a screening visit (~2 hr), two metabolic testing visits (~20 and 24 hr) and daily self-administered growth hormone injections for 6-8 days. Compensation up to $715 provided. 2026 Missouri Data Science and Informatics Symposium April 6-7
The MU Institute for Data Science and Informatics (MUIDSI) Graduate Student Organization invites students, faculty, researchers and industry professionals to attend the 2026 Missouri Data Science and Informatics Symposium, taking place April 6–7, 2026. This year’s theme, “Empowering One Health: AI, Data Science & Novel Alternative Methods,” highlights how data science and artificial intelligence are transforming research across interconnected domains of human, plant, animal and environmental health. The symposium will include keynote speakers, faculty experts, alumni and graduate researchers. MU students will present their research, connect with peers and engage with leading experts across diverse disciplines. The symposium celebrates the vibrant research community at MUIDSI. Keynote speakers include Dr. Diana Roopchand (Rutgers University), whose research explores how food components and natural compounds interact with the gut microbiota to promote health and resilience to chronic disease, and Dr. Tatiana V. Loboda (University of Maryland), whose work focuses on remote sensing and geospatial data analytics and Dr. Sara Capponi (IBM), who specializes in understanding how natural and artificial biological systems function combining structural biology with physics, mathematics and computer science. - Abstract & Poster Submission Deadline: March 25, 2026.

Adults majoring in a health-care related field needed for research study on attitudes
Researchers in the College of Health Sciences at Mizzou are seeking adults 18 and older who are majoring in a health care related field for a research study examining healthcare trainee attitudes and perceptions. The Healthcare Trainees’ Perceptions Study consists of surveys that take 35-minutes. Participants complete questionnaires about their perceptions of women, older adults and people who have obesity. Participants will also complete background information about themselves. MU LAMP Lab is seeking young adults for a paid research study looking at brain and mental processes during learning of new visual cues for liquid rewards. Individuals age 21-25 who drank alcohol at least twice in the past month may be eligible. The study involves 3 lab visits to MU Campus (Marx Building) within 1 week, and 5 short (<15 min) electronic (online) surveys across 12 months. During the lab visits, we will record your EEG (brain waves) while you view shapes on a computer screen and get small sips of fruit juice and alcohol. You will consume about 1 standard drink total at each lab visit. You can earn up to $350 total for completing the entire study. Visit the Sips and Shapes 3 webpage for details and take the eligibility screener.

To learn more about how children who have been hospitalized use play as a way to cope during their stay, parents are being recruited to complete a brief, anonymous online survey. To participate, you must be the parent of a child between the ages of 3-12 years who was hospitalized overnight within the last 6 months. For your time you will be entered into a raffle for a gift card. It will take about 10 minutes to fill out the survey. Access the survey.
